We are looking for someone who loves caring for others.  Being a caregiver isn’t a job, it’s a calling for those who are passionate about helping people in need.  Our caregivers perform the essential duties of personal care to elderly, chronically ill, or disabled clients or clients rehabbing in their homes.  Caregivers work under guidance of a Registered Nurse and in cooperation with other members of the home care team.  If you love helping people and keeping them safe and independent in their homes, this position may be perfect for you!

Below are some examples of the kind of work you’ll be doing:

Assisting with Activities of Daily Living as prescribed in the client’s service plan such as:

  • Meal preparation and feeding;
  • Assisting with bathing and personal hygiene;
  • Help with grooming (oral hygiene, shaving, skin care, nail care and hair grooming;
  • Assisting with dressing;
  • Toileting and incontinence care;
  • Helping clients move around their homes;
  • Bed making/changing bed linens;
  • Light housekeeping and laundry;
  • Shopping;
  • Accompany clients on errands;
  • Medication assistance (reminders only);
  • Safety monitoring.

You must be at least 18 years of age, be dependable, and have reliable transportation to your client’s residence. Had a physical and TB in the last 12 months, CPR/First Aid from an approved agency.
